POLYNESIAN CULTURAL CENTER CLOSING TODAY (OCT. 12) DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
Hukilau Marketplace Shops and Eateries to Remain Open Today
Lä‘ie, Hawai‘i – Oct. 12, 2015 – The Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) announced that it is closing today, Oct. 12, due to the inclement weather and the impact this will have on its tours and cultural visitor experiences. The Center expects to reopen Oct. 13.
“We want our guests to experience the very best of the Polynesian Cultural Center and, unfortunately, today’s stormy weather won’t allow that to happen,” said Alfred Grace, PCC President and CEO. “We’re encouraging our guests who were planning to make the trip to Lä‘ie today from Waikïkï and other parts of O‘ahu to come visit us tomorrow or later in the week after this system has passed.”
Guests who purchased admission or tour packages for today from the PCC should call the reservations department toll-free at (800) 367-7060 or (808) 293-3333 in Hawai‘i to reschedule their visit. Information is also available online at www.polynesia.com.
Guests who purchased admission or tour packages through a third-party vendor need to contact the provider directly to reschedule their visit.
The Hukilau Marketplace, which includes Pounders Restaurant and many North Shore-themed shops and eateries, will remain open today for visitors and residents seeking opportunities for dining and shopping.
