Watch out! There’s a CAT in the Lagoon!

Ever thought you would see Cats in the lagoon? Take a good look because you may never see it again! While the Center is closed, we are taking the opportunity to remove much of the built-up silt and muck from the lagoon. This material will then be dried out and reused in future landscape projects. When we are through, we hope to have much clearer water and a healthier, happier waterway. However, over the next several weeks we are going to make a bit of a mess, so please bear with us. Also, don’t worry about the fish…these Cats don’t eat fish (…most of them made it to the ‘safe’ side of the lagoon anyway).
