Something Wonderful

I was browsing through this little book entitled “Something Wonderful” which is a compilation of foundational speeches over the years regarding PCC and BYUH and on the inside cover was a photo and quote from Pres Gordon B. Hinckley – 

I pray that with all we do in Laie that we will never, never lose sight of the fact that there is something special, something spiritual, something wonderful, something associated in the kinship with the Almighty in this area, which was purchased and set apart as a place of refuge for our people – refuge from the world – set apart for the fulfillment of the work of the Almighty.

With Thanksgiving being celebrated later on this month, November always gives us cause to reflect on our blessings, and even during a pandemic, we have very much to be grateful for. As we do so, please take a moment to ponder on Pres Hinckley’s message about Laie (and PCC) and make mental or even written notes of what you have personally witnessed as “something special, something spiritual, something wonderful, something associated in the kinship with the Almighty”. I hope you come up with a long list.
