Sending good wishes and providing information

Ha: Breath of Life Panorama

Dear PCC Ohana, Aloha!

I know today was probably very busy and somewhat stressful for those of you who completed the first step in applying for unemployment benefits. I really, really hope all of you who have been furloughed can do this within the next day or so.

I am very grateful for our HR team and division helping you through this process. If for some reason your application does not get approved or if you still have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your manager or mentor, or go directly to HR. Remember, keeping you financially whole is a top priority for all of us here in PCC management.

Changes were made to Governor Ige’s “stay home/work from home” this past weekend that allowed local residents a little more freedom outdoors. Over the next few weeks we expect to see the “stay home/work from home” order relaxed even more, allowing local residents and companies to return to normal duties.

From today onwards, it is expected all employees who have not been furloughed, including student employees, will work their normal hours performing tasks that support the essential upkeep of the PCC product, facilities, goods, etc. Of course, many of these jobs will not be what you normally do, but they will allow you to be gainfully employed and help maintain/improve the PCC.

Mahalo nui loa.
