President Grace asks employees to remember the PCC’s dress standards

Aloha PCC Ohana.

Since closing on March 16 some of us have not been keeping our dress and grooming standards as we should. I am particularly concerned about maintaining our dress standards. The PCC Handbook includes the following on page 17:

CLOTHING

1. When arriving and leaving work, all PCC ‘ohana must wear clothing that is modest. Clothes that are sleeveless, backless, low cut, sheer, revealing, or form fitting are considered immodest.

2. Shorts and skirts must be knee-length or longer.

3. Clothing that promotes cigarettes, alcohol, or drugs or has insulting or inappropriate remarks is prohibited.

4. Jackets (or similar) during inclement or cooler weather must be approved by the Director.

To fulfill our mission, core directives and cultural beliefs, it is important that we maintain our dress standards. Whenever we are not required to wear a costume that bares our chest and/or shoulders, we must always comply with item 1 above and dress as we normally would when arriving or leaving work, for the entire time we are at work.
