Have you scheduled your COVID-19 immunization yet?

Aloha my PCC Ohana,

For your information, due to the opportunities being given to PCC employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, the temporary policy of providing leave with pay for those in isolation or quarantine due to COVID-19 will end on April 26, 2021.

After April 26, 2021, we will return to our normal sick leave policy of requiring full-time employees to use PTO or leave without pay to cover all illnesses. See attachment.

If the opportunities for PCC employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 do not continue, the temporary policy of providing leave with pay for those in isolation or quarantine due to COVID-19 may be extended beyond April 26, 2021. You will be notified if this is the case.

If you have a medical condition or other reasons beyond your control that prevent you from being vaccinated against COVID-19, please notify your director or vice president right away, so alternative arrangements can be considered once we return to our normal sick leave policy on April 26.

As always, should you have any questions, please address them with your director, vice president, or myself.

Mahalo Nui Loa,

 Alfred Grace

President & CEO
