Great renovations happening in the Samoa Village

We are currently renovating in the Samoan Village! Here are some of the items that we are working on:

• New Samoa farm area at Old Island’s Office location
• Install new infrastructure:
  • Sewer line for Fale Niu, Fale Popo and the new Samoa Farm for future kitchen
  • Power/Data re-route for Fale Niu, Fale Popo and the new Samoa Farm
  • Tie-in drain lines from Fale Popo into new sewer line
• Sidewalk improvements from bridge towards New Zealand Village:
  • Demo, regrade and install new concrete sidewalks for ADA compliance
  • Extend and install new drains in sidewalk to improve drainage
  • Sawcut/Demo existing sidewalk for sewer line and for proper grading and drainage plus new concrete where required
• Extend malae towards Fale Popo:
  • Demolish outdoor stage, seating area and rotting tree
  • Regrade stage and seating area for grass/sod
  • Fix broken drain lines in male
  • Fix broken drain lines in two (2) areas under sidewalk near lagoon
  • Furnish and install new irrigation
  • Install topsoil
  • Install grass/sod
• Complete renovation of Fale Tele for “indoor” presentations
