An experiment using high-speed video found that hundreds of droplets ranging from 20 to 500 micrometers were generated when speaking a simple phrase, but that nearly all these droplets were blocked when the mouth was covered by a damp washcloth.*

NOTE: Further studies prove that the effectiveness of dry cotton or cotton-blend masks are equally effective in blocking these same droplets while reducing moisture build-up around the mouth and nose

Update regarding Harrison and the Tavana family

Harrison Tavana

Harrison Tavana

Delsa Moe asked us to share the sad newthat the little boy we made the Make A Wish video for – Harrison Tavana – passed away Monday morning. We are thankful for the opportunity we had to bring some joy to the remaining days of his young life through the video PCC sent to him. Our deepest condolences to the Tavana and Mataalii families.

Our sweet Harrison Tavana passed away March 1, 2021, after battling bravely against Brain Cancer (DIPG). He was only 7 years old but in his short time on this earth, he changed the lives of so many around him through his inspiring courage & strength. He was a light to all who knew him from the jokes he would share to the tender small acts of kindness he would do even while suffering during his illness. He would often tell his mom of things he was grateful for while going through radiation and treatments because it made him happy.

We are so grateful to each of you for your love & support. We love you, Harrison! Thank you for teaching us how to be brave.
