Facilities Management duct work in Central Kitchens
One of our recent Facilities Management projects replaced the corroded ductwork from the supply fans to the kitchen exhaust hood in Central Kitchen. Fresh air supply fans, also known as make up air fans, can be used when exhaust fans are present and fresh air is needed to equalize the pressure in the room. Fresh air supply fans, or make up air fans, are often used in commercial kitchens to keep the hood exhaust from pulling excessive amounts of heated or air conditioned air from the restaurant or kitchen.
Below are photos which shows a portion of new ductwork installed. The first picture shows new ductwork in the foreground and demolished ductwork standing vertically in the background. The second picture is a closeup of the new ductwork. What a wonderful way to prepare for reopening!
